It is with profound sadness that the passing of Ryan Luke is announced. Ryan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 13th January, at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool, surrounded by love, at the age of 32. His death has left a deep and lasting sense of loss among his family, friends, and the wider community who knew and cherished him.
Ryan was a loving partner to Rose and a devoted and adoring father to his daughter, Arabelle, who was the light of his life. His role as a partner and father defined him, and he embraced his family with unwavering love, care, and pride. Those closest to him will forever remember his kindness, strength, and the joy he brought into their lives.
He was a dearly loved son of Richard and Kathy, a much-loved brother to Natasha, and a treasured brother-in-law to Chris. Ryan was also a devoted uncle to Alessandra and Savannah, holding a special place in their hearts. Beyond his immediate family, he was a cherished grandson, nephew, and a beloved member of Rose’s family, as well as a loyal and valued friend to many.
Ryan’s courage and dignity throughout his illness were an inspiration to all who knew him. Even in the face of immense challenges, he remained thoughtful, caring, and deeply appreciative of the love and support surrounding him. His gentle nature, warm spirit, and genuine compassion made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
A service to celebrate Ryan’s life will be held on Thursday, 5th February, at St Paul’s Church, Ramsey, at 11:30am, followed by a private cremation. This gathering will offer family and friends an opportunity to honour Ryan’s life, reflect on shared memories, and find comfort in one another during this time of sorrow.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, family flowers only are requested. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be made to Isle Listen, Cancer Research UK, Mannin Cancers, the IOM Anti-Cancer Association, or Crohn’s and Colitis UK—charities that reflect causes close to Ryan’s heart.
