Richard, who passed away recently, leaves behind an immense legacy of service, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of his community. He was not just a first responder but a friend, mentor, and pillar of strength for both his colleagues and those in need of care.
Rich’s dedication to the field of emergency medical services was unparalleled. As an EMT with the Morristown Ambulance Squad, Rich spent many years responding to emergencies, offering help, and providing comfort during the most critical moments. His service was invaluable, and his impact was felt by the countless lives he touched through his professional work. Later, as a lieutenant and paramedic with the Atlantic EMS – ALS Division, Richard continued to embody the highest ideals of emergency care. His skills, expertise, and calm demeanor in times of crisis made him a trusted and respected figure among his colleagues and patients alike.
Rich’s legacy, however, extends far beyond his professional accomplishments. He was a man known for his kindness, integrity, and compassionate heart.
